Bungie has done today an unexpected announcement : the famous studio, known for having created Halo and then Destiny is about to abandon its partnership with Activision, while maintaining full control over Destiny's franchise and starting to produce/publish it independently.

Bungie explains to be grateful to Activision for 8 years together, also reassuring fans that the roadmap of Destiny 2 , with all the updates provided in the future, will remain the same as on the floors. The study also promises to surprise the community with some "exciting" that will be made in the future.
