The development team has confirmed that the new expansion (which include being free) entitled Forsaken Shores , is due to arrive on September 19 .

The DLC will introduce a new region in addition to the three areas that already exist. This new mysterious place is called Devil's Roar .

This region will be marked by periodic volcanic eruption (with numerous debris prepared to damage the ship and the player), exploding geysers, boiling water, earthquakes and landslides. To meet some of these new threats, the DLC will introduce a new vessel, built to be resistant to boiling water.

Also at the Guild of merchants will introduce a new mission called Cargo Runs , which asks the crew of players to carry rare goods from one point to another on the map.
