The independent studio MercurySteam announced that the third person action-shooter Raiders of The Broken Planet released last September, reborn as Spacelords becoming completely free-to-play . The transition will take place on 23 August , in conjunction with the release of the last campaign called Council Apocalypse that introduces four new missions and Valeria as new character 1a.

The director of Spacelords Enric �lvarez explained that the team believed that the reduced price for every single campaign, sold 9.99 Euros, would bring many players to buy the game which unfortunately did not occur. Hence the decision to provide the title for free for all and change the name to highlight the introduction of new content.

In fact Spacelords is proposed as a new game itself and not as a simple update: on August 23 in fact players will find themselves in front of a whole new universe sci-fi and renewed, with differences defined by team "t deep spots that the only way to understand them is to download the game ".

MercurySteam points out, finally, that those who have already purchased Raiders of the Broken Planet , are rewarded through exclusive content that will be announced over the next few days.
