Resident Evil 2: trailer, pictures and details from E3
Twenty years have passed from the original release and finally, with the new Resident Evil 2 , the nightmare returns more frightening than ever thanks to an unprecedented level of immersion, as demonstrated by the recent acclaimed Resident Evil biohazard 7 . The King Engine has a new photorealistic style that will give an incredible sharpness to the characters and that will give life to the hordes of zombies with a creepy and realistic "gore-wet". Now the zombies will react to the player's actions in real time, receiving damage visible from every single bullet used. A beautiful lighting system will bring new life to the already known rooms and hallways of the Raccoon City Police Department. Players will feel literally as Leon and Claire, terrified by the idea of abandoning the security of lighted areas, for fear they could wait in darkness abominations cannibals.
" When in 2015 we said we'd made a new" Resident Evil 2 "we received an overwhelming response from fans and the press. We were eager to show the world this week, "said Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, Producer of Capcom. " We want the fans to see that this remake of Resident Evil 2 not only captures the magic of the much loved original chapter, but it expands the content by providing a richer experience. This first anticipation of E3 is just a taste of what to expect. "
