The market analysis firm NPD announced today that Sea of Thieves , the new pirate Rare title released just over a month ago, is the title of the UK study which sold more in the first month on the market, making it so for now, the most successful game for the study.

And this figure includes physical and digital game purchases only, without considering the many who are playing in the Xbox Game Pass or shared with friends.

When it was announced that Sea of Thieves would have been included in the Game passes since launch, many were willing to bet that due to this move would have sold very little, but the bet is lost: the game has proven to be able to impose with strength in the retail market, and even the second best selling title in the USA in March after Far Cry 5 .

Congratulations, then, to Rare and Microsoft for the excellent results obtained with the title!
