Xbox One: new features announced for the update of may, early in Preview
Here is the news that will come in the next few weeks the members of Alpha Ring:
- Support 120 Hz -After 1440p and FreeSync, Xbox One will be the first (and so far only) console to support output to 120 Hz for TVs and monitors that support it, although so far only for 1080 p resolutions and 1440p. Owners of FullHD panels or monitor with this refresh rate will make the most of them.
- Pool games and apps -Finally players with a large library of games (and apps) installed can organize them better with a new feature called Groups . Here you will be able to create multiple groups of games and apps with the ability to assign a name to each group, organizing them and rearranging them and can even add individual groups at Home. For example, you can create a group with games to be terminated, one with finished ones but from millare and maybe one with only games for kids, for your brother or cousin. The groups will appear and will be manageable both in my games and apps that in the Home and in the Panel, so that you have them at your fingertips. This feature won't arrive all at the same time in Alpha Ring, but only a little at a time will be enabled for some players.
- Trimming clips directly from the Panel -you will now be able to trim clips captured directly from the Panel, without leaving the game and open the Upload Studio. This will help to further the process of sharing clips.
- Enhanced Family Settings -you can now manage all settings for console family members without having to go to Microsoft. For some features that can be accessed only from the web, like the time in front of the screen , will be linked directly from the settings by opening the console in browsers.
-
Improved Accessories App -the app Accessories will be improved and modernized to be easier to use and with a look more in line with the rest of the console.
-
More intuitive Controls -will also be made more intuitive use of certain buttons in the console interface, such as the button View can be used to reorder the games in groups or blocks at Home, while pressing on the Panel will show additional capture options.
Microsoft has also anticipated that, at the time of E3 , announced significant new news coming soon on the console with future updates; given that the latest events have been the scene of important revelations like Play Anywhere, Game Pass and new features of backwards compatibility, we can expect big surprises. Stay tuned for more!
