EA announced today a new update of Star Wars: Battlefront II , entitled Night on Endor and it will arrive on 18 April, bringing with him a new mode: Chase Ewoks , which will see us play as a tribe of Ewoks, or how their opponents, on the night of the forest Moon of Endor.

The update will also be the occasion for the already announced reintroduction of microtransactions in the game, completely misrepresented than the much-criticised the game's launch and now related solely to aesthetic elements such as new clothes for appearances/ Heroes of the game. UPDATED NIGHT ON ENDOR OF STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT â„¢ II

Players become hunters and prey in the new mode limited time available since April 18 Ewok Hunting.

The night is falling on the forest Moon of Endor, and the power of the Empire matters little to the Ewoks struggling to defend their world. In Chase Ewok *, the exciting new mode of Star Wars Battlefront â„¢ II â„¢, begin flocking Spears and blaster when a squad of stormtroopers is scuppered by a tribe of Ewok that descend from the trees unleashing their fury hidden. Available for a limited time only, Imperial enemies stalk Hunting allows Ewok on behalf of the night, or to reject desperately "pallette of fur" until help arrives.

The battle begins

In this new mode, start the fight as an Ewok, or in a group of stormtroopers. The ambush kicks off when the Ewok attacked the stormtroopers unaware of the danger using Spears, Wistie and any other skill will come in handy to eliminate the invaders. Each Stormtrooper defeated do get into another field Ewok. If they can eliminate all imperial forces, the Ewoks win and can begin the festivities.

However, the attackers can rely on a training and a much higher firepower than those of uncontrollable Ewok. Equipped with an arsenal of weapons, and torches to get herself off in the darkness, players must fend off the onslaught of Ewoks to survive until the arrival of the rescue team.

The return of Swarovski crystals and the arrival of some special aspects

The April update affects not only Hunt Ewok. This month, the crystals are back in Star Wars Battlefront â„¢ II â„¢ and become one of the ways to unlock aspects, including Leia and Han in the Endor version. Real currency can only be used to buy crystals, which in turn are redeemable just to get new things (you can get more details on crystals in our FAQ ). Also obtainable in-game credits, progressing normally, can be used to redeem aspects. This update implements over 50 additional aspects to customize units.
