News Xbox One Preview: Twitter sharing, search, and automatic Game mode Freesync
So far, share on Twitter a captured content with the GameDVR did nothing but post on social networks a link that led then to the actual content on the Xbox site, thus preventing to zoom screen shots or play movies directly from Twitter. Now the new mode of public share will display the content directly on Twitter, adding also automatically the hashtag #XboxShare in addition to that with the name of the game at which the contents refers.
Another new feature, which will be released with an update in the next few hours is the replacement on the Panel button to open the Xbox Store with a Search button . This will open a search form that will allow you to search for specific content in our content, settings and in the Store. So we attempt to find both "Halo" games of the series that we have installed or ready to install, that those available for purchase in the Store; typing instead "audio" will allow us to quickly find the audio settings of your console.
Next week will be arriving two interesting new features for the most demanding in terms of graphics. The first is the FreeSync support for PC monitor on Xbox One S and X, it will use AMD technology to dramatically improve the performance of the games by synchronizing the output of the monitor with the frame of the console. This will eliminate any problems with v-sync or frame-rate in the most problematic titles, but will only work with monitors that have support "FreeSync 2 over HDMI".
The other news, for now though unusable, is the setting for the Automatic Game mode . This setting, that the console will be called " Automatic latency Mode " will allow the console to tell the TV when Game mode on and off, designed to minimize the input lag, so that automatically activate it when we play and disable it when we navigate the dashboard or see multimedia content such as Netflix, which they can then enjoy all the features of post-processing graphic that are turned off by the Game mode. The TVs that support this setting are not yet on the market and it will only be in the coming months; This is an option for now not yet usable.
