A dev diary by The Council shows us the features of the game; Here comes the March 13
In the movie we learn that the game, a detective adventure story set on an island in 1793 and with guests such as Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington, will be structured as a real RPG with free exploration of the environment and skill tree for the protagonist; instead of finding physical abilities such as combat or agility, however, the game will present skill as the knowledge of history, ability for dialogue and so on.
The Council has in fact a real combat system, and also the most violent collisions will take place through a dialogue that will overwhelm or be overwhelmed by the opponent. Developers explain also that the game will have no game over and there will be a condition of failure: everything you do, all of our choices and even the failures, will be brought forward in the relationship with different consequences both in the medium and long period.
In short, The Council promises to be a very interesting title for lovers of adventure narrative, and there we will discuss in more detail in our review. Meanwhile valutatelo yourself in the following movie!
