Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive have announced the development of the science fiction action-RPG souls-like The Surge 2 , with expected release on Xbox One in 2019. According to early details released by the development team, The Surge 2 will resume gameplay and dynamics that characterized the previous chapter, with a unique combat system that promises, in this chapter, to be revised to ensure the most brutal and tactical combat.

The Surge 2 will take place in a completely new environment and will see us in a ruined city where there is a lot more cared level design and improved; In addition there will be multiple weapons, equipment and skill and we'll introduce new enemies and bosses.
