Electronic Arts today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Respawn Entertainment, the independent studio series Titanfall that, in 2010, was formed by a group of defectors from Infinity Ward led by Jason West and Vince Zampella.

The study will become so now permanently part of the EA family; the head of the studio Vince Zampella says that was a move essential to ensure the team the resources necessary to achieve even more ambitious projects, among which we find out there's now also a new Titanfall in addition to the two already known, namely a title Star Wars headed by creative director of God of War 3 and a game VR for Oculus.
