Titanfall 2: Respawn illustrates the improvements for Xbox One X
In the case of the popular FPS, this time not the Inbox asset 4 k: the study has made it clear that the only improvements introduced, in this case, is the support 4 k rendering with no textures, but with a difference: the introduction of the superscaling (or supersampling ) already exists on the PC.
Titanfall 2 supports a dynamic resolution rendering, meaning that even though the game will be released in 4 k, internal rendering resolution always will adapt to heaviness of the scenes shown, descending dynamically under 4 k when needed to maintain performance. But the concept also works the other way: when the game does not stress too much the console hardware, in fact, the game will be rendered internally at resolutions up to 4 k then climbed down with techniques that will preserve the more detail by canceling the aliasing and improve overall image quality.
Respawn says that, with these improvements, on Xbox One X players will enjoy an image much more detailed and will see a lot more detail than play it on Xbox One standard. We just have to wait for 7 November to find out if it is really so!
