It's something you had already spoken in the past, and now the members of Alpha Ring Xbox One Preview program can begin to set it: the ability to download on Xbox One the workflows of the games designed for Xbox One X , so that upon arrival of the new console simply transfer them (via network or using an external drive) without having to wait for the download of full-bodied updates.

If you are part of the Alpha Ring, you will find the option " Download 4 k game content " in the system settings Backup and "transfer": once activated the option as soon will begin to arrive on the first 4 k Live update (for now it seems there are), your console will automatically download them like regular game updates.

But be warned: as the description next to the option, this content can take even more space than the game itself, so the download is not recommended if you have little free space.

Please note that, if you want to transfer content from your current Xbox One associated with Xbox One X, you can do it with a new transfer function over the network which will be introduced together with the autumn update in the coming weeks (already available in Alpha) or simply using a USB 3.0 external hard drive.
