MercurySteam announced an Open Beta for third-person action-shooter Raiders of The Broken Planet , available the next 15 and 16 September and that will allow us to try the first two missions of the game. The first, First Round , is a tutorial and is a mission started the game that sees us as Harec , leader of the Raiders and could be played only in single player. In the second, Hanging by the Thread , players must invade enemy spacecraft to save the Warrior Lycus Dion and can be played in both single player and multiplayer.

Both are part of the Prologue and can be downloaded for free at the game's launch scheduled for September 22 , to be accompanied by the first title campaign, playable in both single and multiplayer, entitled Alien Myths that will include several additional content and will be sold at the price of 9.99 euros.

Later will be released three other campaigns: Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal and Council's Apocalypse that will include each a new parallel history, allowing the player to participate in each of the campaigns without play them in a certain order.
