Just a few days before the official release of the game, Studio Wildcards announced with a trailer the arrival in October of a new DLC's ARK: Survival Evolved called Aberration that adds a new zone, weapons, challenges and new features in game. The player will find himself in a completely new environment, a very elaborate underground biome where the wait for new dangers including earthquakes, radiation and gas leakage.

In addition to the challenges you will face new enemies Humanoids, the monstrous Nameless , and new creatures who have undergone genetic mutations caused by high level radioactive. Will be introduced also over 50 new items to meet the new environmental structure as climbing gear, batteries and the hazmat suit for waves in the air.

The DLC will be included for Season Pass holders, who will also receive a helmet and a sword, or can be purchased separately for around 19.99 Euro.
