Mike Ybarra, the head of Xbox One operating system development, recently conducted a live Mixer ( recording here ) to show the already known things to come with the update in the fall. During transmission, however, it was found an item so far unpublished: the animated backgrounds.

When (35:00 per minute of video) Ybarra showed screen for light or dark theme setting for the console, that will allow us to have menus and white backgrounds instead of black, this also had another option: " Live tags " meaning " Animated backgrounds ".

Ybarra didn't explain what was the purpose of that option, but from the name it appears that the update will also introduce the ability to load dashboard backgrounds with animated themes, as already we can use on Windows 10.

For now there is no official confirmation and we will have to await further news about; in the meantime, here's a screenshot of that view that option.
