During the Gamescom , Microsoft revealed that the expansion entitled Awakening the Nightmare of Halo Wars 2 , announced at this past E3, will be available from next September 26 . The expansion introduces a new campaign, with chronologically after a few months from the end of the events in Halo Wars 2, a new cooperative mode called "Terminus Firefight" that sees the return of the Flood , and as for the multiplayer segment adds two new leaders and two new maps.
