Blizzard announced today that this year will be held the summer games of Overwatch , the event that will entertain fans of the game with new character models and new ways. The 2017 Summer Games Edition will take place from 8 to 24 August with a new model, a new map for Lúcioball and the return of the 2016 Summer Games models.

Update to the Coffers of the summer games

Models of last year's summer games will be available for purchase at a reduced rate than this year.

Here are the prices of new cosmetic items of 2017 summer games:

• Legendary models: 3,000 credits
• EPIC models: 750 credits
• Rare items: 225 credits
• Common items: 75 credits

Here are the reduced price of cosmetic items of the 2016 Summer Games:

• Legendary models: 1,000 credits
• EPIC models: 250
• Rare items: 75 credits
• Common items: 25 credits

Upgrade to Lúcioball

• The brawl of the summer games is back: two teams composed only of Lúcio clash playing 3v3 with the following changes:
• Lúcioball presents a new map: Sydney. The matches now will alternate between this stadium and to Rio.
• You've implemented a number of changes to the abilities of Lúcio scrimmages by Lúcioball.
• The ability to fend off enemies has been removed.
• The Ultra Lúcio Costa does not attract more the ball to the player. Now, however, increases the speed of Lúcio and rejected.
• 2017 summer games also introduce a second competitive mode, in which players are ranked.
