EA today announced that in October all fans of Star Wars: Battlefront II will test the sub title with a multiplayer beta which will be available from October 4 to those who preordered the game while everyone else can play it starting on 6 October . For all will end on 9 October.

The Beta will include the same map of the Royal Palace at Theed on Naboo already seen at E3, and will also present the Starfighter assault mode that will allow us to pilot several space fighter in the series. On this mode will be revealed more during the Gamescom, in just over a month.

Please note that Star Wars: Battlefront II will hit stores starting from 17 November, and will be supported by a brand new single-player campaign. We will update when we know more about the content of the Beta.
