343 Industries has made two announcements today surely very welcome to fans of the Halo series: the first is that Halo 5: Guardians will receive an update to support the full 4 k resolution on Xbox One X at the launch of the new console, of course without penalty on frame-rate that will remain at 60 fps as on the current console.

The second announcement, appealing even to owners of Xbox One, is that by the end of the year will be made backwards compatible four titles in the series: Halo 3 , Halo 3: ODST , Halo 4 and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary . But that's not all: when these titles will arrive in backward compatibility, all respective DLC will be free of charge so as to allow everyone to benefit from it without restrictions, of course also on Xbox 360 if you still have your deck.
