Psyonix has announced that from midnight tonight will come a new free update to Rocket League designed to celebrate the second anniversary since the game's launch, which occurred on July 7, 2015: over the last two years the title has seen the involvement of ben 33 million players on all platforms.

The update includes a new arena for free, called "Champions", and a wide range of new content, including:

• A number of items for customisation free and dedicated to Rick and Morty, distributed as common drop after the games online and offline, including the antennae of Rick and Morty, the topper "Cromulon", "Mr. Meeseeks" and "Mr. PBH" boost "Interdimensional GB" and wheels "Sanchez DC-137".
• The "Rocket League Radio", which adds a new music playlist default, "Rocket League x 18", with new songs of Tortious music label EDM Tortious.
• The new Battle-Car from import "Animus GP" and "Centio V17," available exclusively as a drop in the new Overdrive "Crate".
• New Overdrive Crate with the ability to unlock animated decals, new trails and much more.
• New customization options, including "Audio Engine", "Goal" Explosions "and" Trails ": a mix of FREE selections and drop crates.
• The term "competitive season 4" and trails of prize dealt to players who attended, according to the highest level.
• Beginning of "competitive season 5" with new changes .
• Six new achievements and trophies.
