Bandai Namco announced today Dragon Ball Fighters , a new 2.5 D fighting game in development for the Xbox One by Arc System Works. The game will use a three-on-three fighting system, allowing the player to pick a team of characters more compatible with each other.

Quick clashes will also be present and special moves that we learned about in the manga/anime series Dragon Ball.

The producer Tomoko Hiroki explains that unlike the Dragon Ball 3D titles of recent years, 2.5 D was chosen because there are some actions that can be done only using this style.

Dragon Ball Fighters will be release in 2018. Stay tuned for more details about the game!
