Psyonix announced that, to mark two years since the release of Rocket League and its current 31 million players, on 5 July will come a new update called Anniversary Update . The update introduces a new arena Champions Field call free, usable in competitive matches, individuals and random.

The Anniversary Update contains the end of the competitive season 4 and the start of the competitive season 5 and introduces the Rocket League Radio , adding 18 new songs of Monstercat to the game.

We will find two new cars to combat imported, Animus GP and Centio V17 , available as prizes in the new Overdrive Crate , new customization options such as Audio engine, explosions targets and Trails , and a mix of free selections and premiums.
