As expected, Ubisoft revealed today the new Far Cry 5 with a video completely in-game and completely in Italian that we view the setting of the game and the sect of fanatics with whom we're dealing. The video is commented by the new enemy of the game, deflected Father Joseph Seed, who explains his view on a decidedly violent handling of the alleged sins of the inhabitants of Hope County.

The French company also announced that the game will arrive on February 27, 2018 , revealing the first details about the game, which we present below.

Set for the first time in America, in the State of Montana, Far Cry 5 will allow players to freely explore, alone or in cooperative mode for two players , a broad scenario seemingly quiet, but will have to fight for their freedom and survival. The development of Far Cry 5 is driven by Ubisoft Montreal studio.

As the new Deputy Assistant Sheriff of the fictional Hope County, players will soon find out that their arrival has sparked an evil plot remained hidden for years, Eden's Gate, designed by a group of apocalyptic fanatics intending to conquer the entire County at any cost. Caught off guard and dragged into a power struggle, players must stop the plans of Project Eden's Gate and fuel resistance to obtain his freedom and that of the whole community of Hope County.

Under siege and isolated from the rest of the world, players will join forces with the residents of Hope County, forming the resistance. The struggle against the cult will take them in a number of places throughout the County are truly unique, that will guarantee also different gaming experiences. In the course of their adventure, players will fly aboard planes to face the forces of the sect in exciting duels in the skies of Montana. While they will hunt to the followers of the sect and they will try to obtain resources to survive between campaigns, forests, mountains and rivers, can also get behind the wheel of some iconic American vehicles, like muscle cars, trucks, ATVs and boats. The vehicles will also be a useful animal shelter in the event of an attack or a quick escape route when things don't go as planned.

To suppress the sect, players must tap into the arsenal at its disposal, including ranged weapons like guns and grenades and melee weapons like hammers and baseball bats. In addition, they can recruit mercenaries from a wide range of characters and even some wild animals, such as bears and Cougars, able to integrate to your playing style, both in the case of a stealthy approach that mostly voted for action, because in Far Cry 5 players can freely choose how to deal with every situation and the chaos that will ensue. Far Cry 5 will also see the return of the map editor , which will give you the opportunity to create and play in a virtually limitless amount of new scenarios. The map editor will include many new features, which will add a new dimension to content created by fans and that soon we will reveal more details.
