Destiny 2: Activision tells us about the characters in the game
The Vanguard
The vanguard is composed of three high-ranking Guardians: Zavala, Ikora Rey and Cayde-6. Each of them represents one of the Gatekeepers: Titan, Warlock and Hunter; are the chiefs of the guardians, guide the actions and define the objectives of the missions. How to respond to the new danger which threatens humanity?
Warlock – Ikora Rey
Ikora's role in the vanguard is to investigate less conventional enemy threats, particularly those coming from the forces of darkness, before which tends to be the first to react. In Destiny 2 its leadership will be more necessary than ever in the struggle of humanity against Lord Ghaul and his red Legion.
Titan – Commander Zavala
The Commander Zavala is a Titan veteran who coordinates the defense of the city. In Destiny 2 we will see how it will react, now that the last safe city of humanity has fallen into the hands of Lord Ghaul.
Hunter – Cayde-6
In all probability the fan favorite character, Cayde-6 was appreciated both the teaser trailer and the reveal.
The spectrum once said: " Cayde is a skilled Hunter, with years of experience in survive in the wild. But fighting a war is not exactly his forte. I'm not sure the strategy "shoot until they are all dead" will suffice . "
The tower is under attack
The Tower, the last safe place on Earth, is the home of the guardians, as well as the fortress of what remains of humanity. The catastrophic attack that will suffer, as shown in the trailer, defines the setting of the story of Destiny 2. How the heroes will react when their home is threatened?
A new enemy
We haven't revealed much about the new threat to humanity. All we know is that this force Cabal, known as Red Legion, is a new mortal enemy formed by a variety of fighters, ranging from huge creatures soldiers rabid dogs. We can't wait to unveil the powers that the guardians will use to face this new threat. Appointment to reveal of gameplay on 18 May.
