Rumor: the new Assassin's Creed will be called Origins and will have two protagonists, more details
Game sources confirm that the title, as in ancient Egypt, will be set by previous rumor: the title Origins is alleging that the game will show us the very first fraternity of assassins, and we will propose two protagonists as in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate , a man and a woman. And, according to the site, this will not be the only factor to return from the past: the game we will also propose the naval battles.
WWG asserts, however, that this time the game will have an outline of progress in history less linear, giving the player more freedom on what to do and how to do it: he has been compared to Skyrim from this point of view, while not a RPG.
For this reason, it seems that this will be the biggest Assassin's Creed ever created, both for breadth of environments, always freely explorable, that amount of things to do. And it seems that players might be able to move well beyond Egypt, for example in Greece and other Mediterranean territories.
The site finally mentions another source that circulates within Ubisoft video that, after showing the Egypt, switching to other eras and epochs showing an Asian country, the France of World War II and the Abstergo industries of today. It is not clear whether all of this will be part of the new game, or whether it will be shown at E3.
There only remains to wait until mid-June, provided that there are no other rumors and leaks before then: stay tuned!
