Undead Labs today released a new artwork by State of Decay 2 : this time it's an image created at the beginning of the production process, when nobody developer had started working on it. The study asked an artist to represent the concept of "defeat a horde", and this is how he imagined.

The team points out how the scene you see in the image below will probably never in State of Decay 2 since it's highly unlikely that a single survivor can survive a horde so massive a single baseball bat, but still allows us to understand at least the kind of artistic design from which developers started to realize the game.
