The head of Microsoft Studios Shannon Loftis has recently intervened in the last episode of the video This Week on Xbox Major Nelson's talking about Crackdown 3 , explaining how the new game will change compared to previous games in the series and stating that in the title of Reagent Games is all relative to the effect "boom", referring probably to high explosive of the title.

The Loftis explained: " If you remember what was the original Crackdown, with extensive open cities and weapons and cars that were coming up to level with you, imagine all this multiplied by 10. In Crackdown 3 is all relative to the boom. It's a huge futuristic city. There will be enemies smarter, more vehicles and more weapons. The explosions and destruction make it an amazing experience " . The manager later confirmed that Crackdown 3 will arrive this year.

In short, it seems that at least the Loftis is very positive and convinced of the ability of the game, and not cheap in a company that we know when unconvinced about a stock, don't get many problems to cancel development. For realizing even we will probably wait until the E3: stay tuned!
