Remedy on the new title in development: greater involvement, two cooperative

Last year Remedy ( Max Payne , Alan Wake , Quantum Break ) had announced to be working on two new titles: we have since found out that one of the two is the campaign of Crossfire 2 , Asian shooter that we don't know if it will come on our console, while the other is a project developed within codenamed P7 (the seventh great project carried out by the Finnish study).

Now the studio updates us on this mysterious project, with an interview to the business development director Mikael Kasurinen which it looks good from reveal important details about the title but we understand some of the features it will have.

Kasurinen explains in the interview that the focus of P7 will once again a very strong narrative, with a great history and a deep lore to explore for players, but this time it will be an experience less linear than other titles produced by the studio. The Director says that Remedy will want to make sure that players spend more time in the new title, exploring and discovering all the secrets. Although not specified directly, everything points to a more open or more replayable experience.

The Director of development wanted to then address the issue multiplayer, that had emerged from a previous job ad and did think of many that the study you were moving towards competitive multiplayer. None of this: Kasurinen explained that the massively multiplayer sector P7 shall be limited to the two-player cooperative, why would you want to give the opportunity for couples to enjoy together. No opening then in PVP or eSports, at least for now.

We'll be waiting for more details to tell you more about the new title Remedy!
