At a recent Investor Conference, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty coming out this year will be developed by Sledgehammer Games, already authors of CoD: Advanced Warfare ; the announcement more interesting though is alleging that the game will take us back down to Earth, proposing a more classic gameplay and "will return to the origins of the series ".

This tells us that the new title will get rid of gameplay mechanics like jumps, exoskeletons and everything else included in the titles of recent years, back to classical mechanics, those of the first titles in the series. The recent rumor that wanted the game set in the past?
