The nonprofit organization XBMC Foundation has announced during the Windows Developer Day to be working on porting to Universal Platform of the popular media center Kodi (born on the first Xbox as Xbox Media Center), so you can finally take on Xbox One.

For those who don't know, Kodi is one of the most complete and popular media center available to date, that allows not only the reproduction of multimedia files to disk, Flash drive or network, but it also has powerful ability to play streaming and IPTV sources, with the possibility of being expanded with numerous plug-ins to enhance the functionality. The arrival of this app on Xbox One is something that fans have been waiting for.
