Independent study Italian MixedBag has just announced the release date of the stylish futuristic form. 8 metroidvania, which will arrive on next February 23.

The development of the form. 8 took longer than expected: the game was announced in 2013 and the development team was aiming to drop it over the next year, but MixedBag faced ups and downs and released other titles over the years. Meanwhile the team fit. 8 grew, as well as the scope of the project: the development team has added so much and discarded many ideas over time in order to release the best game possible.

The title features each item we will have available a metroidvania, classic huge world to explore, a system of power-ups that will allow us to access new areas, many enemies to fight, puzzles to solve and an intriguing story.

In form. 8 we will be in charge of the probe on the surface of an alien planet. Separated from our classmates because of an accident, we were instructed to find and recover an ancient and powerful source of energy before it's too late.
