The Xbox One development Chief Mike Ybarra announced during a podcast with Major Nelson, who after release to the public of the Creators Update Xbox One will be the time to introduce another feature requested by fans: the Gamerpics.

This means that everyone will have a chance to set the player images you prefer: his photo, an image taken from movies, comic books or cartoons and so on.

Ybarra explained that this is a feature that presents many challenges, such as players could set the images objectionable or unsuitable for children, and then implementing this feature will ensure that you have all the tools to avoid problems. Suppose for example, you will report to the team Xbox unwelcome images (such as Facebook) and probably also decide to see only your custom images of your friends by hiding those strangers, an option that was already present on the Xbox 360 for the Gamerpics made through the Live Vision Camera or the Kinect.

Ybarra has finally explained that this feature will be introduced after the arrival of the Creators Update but definitely before E3, so we talk about the March-may period more or less. Stay tuned for further updates!
