Speaking on the official forum of Project CARS 2 , Ian Bell to Slightly Mad Studios has provided some additional information on the title. The first is that the game is currently in a phase of quality control, which cannot be defined over 7 months before at least, time that will be used by the developer to pull in polished the game and to make it as bug-free as possible.

In response to a user who asked him when he would have had news regarding a pre-order the game, Bell has then countered that there is still time, as the team is currently "a bit behind the graphical interface and career" , revealing that his expectations are the ones to see anything like the finished product around the month of September.
