Dontnod Entertainment has released a new video of their action RPG set in the London of 1918 full of dangers of all kinds, Vampyr , which gives us some details on the history of the game's protagonist, the doctor-vampire Jonathan Reid of which we told you in one of our previous news .

The movie gives us an overview of Victorian London where you set the game, devastated by the scourge of the Spanish influence that is reaping victims everywhere, and through the streets of the city moves just Reid, divided in its unbearable inner conflict. Reid comes to London after serving in World War I, infected by something worse than any disease: vampirism. The protagonist continues to work as a doctor to help victims of influenza, but must at the same time hold off her new vampiric needs. Important part of the game is precisely this duality in the doctor, who cannot help but kill to feed on fresh blood-but it's up to us to decide who to kill. Every civilian will become a prey or be saved by our care, and each of them has its own history, a name and a life of its own: it will be then players decide what to do, if by ravenous beast or trying to eat only when necessary and with the worst waste of the city.

While the video shows us all that, in the background the nurses and a patient of the Hospital where Reid works are expressed on the doctor, stating how good and dedicated to his profession, but also how to show an unusual pallor of complexion, the same found in many deaths on the streets: as if the blood had been sucked completely.
