Square Enix has announced that the first Final Fantasy XV DLC will be called Holiday Pack and will arrive on December 22 in two versions: the Holiday Pack base will be free for everyone and will include four different content, while the Holiday Pack + will be available to Season Pass holders or Digital Premium Edition and includes many other improvements. To have all content will be downloaded both packs.

On the same day of the DLC will come also a free update that adds a new game + mode, that will allow us to start the story upon completion to start over but keeping all the stats and items obtained up to that point, and the ability to add various kinds of frames to pictures taken in the game and shared on social networks .

Free Holiday Pack contents are as follows:

• The fanfare of the Warrior – A roll of sheet music containing a song of jubilation that provides additional AP'S to earn an A + in attack outside of training.
• Nixperience Band – A device that stops the counting of experience points, preventing the party to level so as to have challenges with various enemies.
• Carnival Passport – A ticket that will give us access to personalized party adorably Moogle Chocobo Carnival, coming in January.
• Choco-Mog Tee (available in January 2017) – An exclusive t-shirt that has the fluffy feathered friends. Convenient and colorful, is suitable for any party.

The Holiday Pack + instead will include this content:

• The ring of resistance – A protective gem that makes the whole party fire magic attack resistant.
• Tech Turbocharger – A device for Noctis that accelerates the rate of fill Armiger bar bar tech, but blocks.
• Armiger Accelerator – A device for Noctis fill Armiger bar that accelerates the rate, but blocks the tech bar.
• Fanfare Blitzer – A roll of sheet music containing a song of jubilation that provides additional AP'S to earn an A + in time outside of training.
• Fanfare Tactic – A roll of sheet music containing a song of jubilation that provides additional AP'S to earn an A + in Finesse outside of training
• Key to prosperity – A lucky pendant, which increases the speed at which the fallen enemies leave behind valuable objects.
• Badge Resistance – A device that allows Noctis to do a sprint without spending stamina.
• Costume for holidays (available in January) – A funny dress perfectly suited to enjoy the festivities. Its attractive design puts everyone in a good mood.
• Exclusive Photo Frames (available in January) – Additional themes that players can apply at Prompto photos to share on their social media channels.
