Bigben Interactive, French publisher already engaged on the front racing with the WRC and the new Isle of Man TT motorcycle racing, announced that it has acquired from Atari Test Drive brand, inactive since the release of Test Drive Unlimited 2 took place five years ago.

The company claims to want to exploit the franchise for new titles, although so far no one knows at what developer will be assigned, nor whether it retains the open world structure of previous episodes. We will update as soon as more news will emerge.
