Rare announced that next week, from 16 to 18 December, there will be the very first stage of closed Alpha testing of Sea of Thieves , in which some players (only 1,000, then a very low number) from those who have subscribed to the Insider program will be invited to try for the first time the game.

This first phase of testing, called " Update 0.1.0 ", we will involve in a simple mission: alone or with a group of players we will embark in search of buried treasure on an island, with a chance to meet other adventurers and also to naval battles against them. Is not yet possible to directly fight with other players, since their mechanics have not yet been finalized. If you have enrolled in the program Insider, there only remains to cross our fingers and hope to be "summoned".
