During The Game Awards 2016, 343 Industries announced the arrival on Xbox One of Halo Wars Definitive Edition , remastered Edition of the first installment in the series originally released for the Xbox 360 that offers, among other things, a technical department upgraded and all DLCS published so far.

Those elite Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition that can be purchased at the price of $135, will have the opportunity to play for free and with two months early Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, more precisely from December 20, 2016. All others will have to wait for the February 21, 2017 to buy it individually.
