Microsoft today announced a major new feature on the Xbox One Preview program, which allows users to test the new features of the console. The House of Redmond announced that the program will be called now Xbox Insider Program and will allow members to test the Preview versions of apps and games.

While the program Preview is so far been strictly by invitation, the Xbox Insider Program open to all users at least when it comes to testing apps and games; the operating system test will remain for now limited to members who have already subscribed to Preview but you may be expanded in the future too.

To reflect this change, even the Preview app Hub that allows members of the program Preview to test new features and participate in "missions" for testing, will change its name to Xbox Hub Insider and becoming completely, both graphically and in functionality. Most active members of the program preview should receive the new version of the Hub already at this time, while others will come in the coming weeks.
