Rod Fergusson of The Coalition announced with a tweet a major change that will affect the already announced Gears of War 4 Season Pass. We thus discover that the 6 card packs Gear Packs that had been announced for the Pass will be replaced by 17 Starter Air Drop packets, for a total of 85 cards, higher than expected before.

In particular the 17 packages will be divided as follows:

• 5 improvements for Horde mode
• 5 improvements to the Versus mode
• 5 Packages Transactions
• 2 Elite packages
