As we know, this year Microsoft will hold a Conference at Gamescom, and then, while we can expect new videos of gameplay for titles already known, there will be no big announcements. This does not mean that Xbox there will novelties and surprises from now to the end of the year, and that's Phil Spencer to advise us.

Badgered by a fan on Twitter, Xbox Director has explained that " there will be things to say this fall ", and they'll find the best time to do these ads.

Spencer then suggested that this could take place in locations in which typically were never made official announcements: responding to another tweet has said he wants to find a fan who has never seen before, and right at that time could make the new ads. Referring to events like the Paris Games Week or the Milan Games Week? Or maybe Microsoft is planning to hold an event "X16" such as those made by now many years ago? The latter is still the weakest, because if you really must take a dedicated event, Microsoft do it next year, as we get closer to launch of Project Scorpio.
