The release of Anniversary Update of the Xbox One , scheduled for August 2, is now upon us and support Microsoft has released the list of all features provided by recalling them even with a video, informing us that the version of the update will be the " 10.0.14393.1018 (rs1_xbox_rel_ 1608.160725 -1822) fre ", already arrived in recent days to members of the program preview.

The update introduces a number of new features like the "my games & apps" redesigned, a new look for the store and finally the music in the background. The announced support of Cortana is not reached: despite being activated for everyone during the program Preview, Microsoft decided to release it at the moment only for USA and UK, while working to perfect it in other countries.

Music in the background

• Music apps will now be able to continue to play music even when switching to other applications or games, without that they remain side by side. Every app should implement support for this feature, and one of the first will be the Groove Music app that also allows us to upload our MP3 on Skydrive to listen to them in the console.
• Once you start a song in any application that supports background play, after switching to other apps or games to control playback just open the guides with double-Xbox controller button and select Multitasking : from here you can pause, change song and adjust the volume.

My games & apps

• Now to reach my games & apps you no longer need to scroll down the home screen: button has been moved directly to the right of the main screen.
• The area my games & apps now presents the boxes vertically instead of horizontally, with new sort options. It's also possible to change the size of the box.
• Free games and apps ready for installation are now displayed in a dedicated area, where you can see all content owned and not installed.
• And you have entered a new area that will display the available updates for games and apps, when present.
• The installation queue will now display the latest content installed. Also when you download something, now there will be a clear indication of the size and download speed.

Language and location settings

• In the settings you can now select a different language than your location; for example, you can select how the Italy, but as language interface and English games.

PC games on Xbox Live

• The biggest PC games are now visible even on Xbox Live. This means that on Xbox One, you get to see goals, screenshots and clips of your friends playing on PC titles.

New Store

• The Store has been improved both in presentation of content, ease of use.
• -Orders are now charged only when approaching the launch date of the games rather than at the time of pre-order, as was the case so far.
• It is now possible to make payments by phone using your mobile operator.

Find friends on Facebook

• Friends in the area it is now possible to have suggestions of new friends to add, locating them among our Facebook friends.

Automatic sharing control

• It is now possible to set which items automatically share in our news feed: objectives, screenshot, clip.
