2 k Games has announced that XCOM 2 , sequel to the hit strategy already released on PC, will debut on since 9 September . The new chapter will be set "20 years later from when mankind has lost the war against the aliens and will see the return of XCOM paramilitary organization."

XCOM ® 2 coming out on consoles on 9 September 2016

New York, NY – 7 June 2016 – 2 k announces today that XCOM ® 2 will be released for the PlayStation 4 and

Xbox One on 9 September 2016. 2 k Games and Firaxis have partnered with studying The Workshop, industry veterans, to take the title on consoles and maintain a high standard in the series.

"Firaxis has successfully boosted the XCOM franchise thanks to critically acclaimed Studio XCOM 2 critically," said Matt Gorman, vice President of marketing at 2 k. "Many players have asked loudly the console version of XCOM 2 , now can again join the resistance from September."

XCOM 2 is set 20 years in the future from the date when the human race has lost the war against the aliens. The paramilitary organisation XCOM was now forgotten, should make his return from the shadows to regain control of the Earth.

Players who book XCOM 2 will receive Resistance Warrior Pack, which will provide them with more customization options for soldiers and several additional bonuses.
