Rumor: Warner is working on a new Batman, the protagonist is Damian Wayne

As we know, Batman: Arkham Knight was the last Batman made in Rocksteady, but that does not mean that Warner wants to give up a franchise so popular: today we know that the editor is working on two AAA titles set in the DC Universe, one of which is dedicated to the Suicide Squad , and the other is unknown even though many think could be dedicated to Superman .

And if it's in the works a new Batman? That's what Byte-size Impressions blog says, explaining that he had information dating back to last August, so not very recent, but may still be valid.

According to sources, Warner Bros. is working on a new Batman title not starring Bruce Wayne but her son Damian Wayne, now grown and become Batman himself. If confirmed, this would suggest that the game will not follow the continuity of the comics, since Damian there has never been represented as an adult except in two stories in fact representatives of alternative realities: one is Batman in Bethlehem by Morrison and Kubert, released in 2007 in the number 666 of Batman, and the other is the long cycle Justice League: Generation Lost started in 2010.

Besides that, the blog explains that the game we propose a Gotham fully populated, unlike environments "evacuated" Rocksteady, and titles that will not take place during one night making us think that there will also be a complete day/night cycle. We don't know if we can control the Batmobile, but it seems that at least the Batcycle will be attending.

Finally we are told that the game will allow us to enter also in the Batcave, which as we will proceed in the history we can upgrade with new devices.

The information is all here for now, and as always we emphasize how they are to be taken with a grain of salt since it is an unconfirmed rumor: could be reflected in reality, or may be denied. It is likely, however, that, if a new Batman really is in development, we'll know more between 10 days, during the E3. Stay tuned!
