As expected , Game Informer has officially announced that the cover of the April issue of the American magazine-available to subscribers in a few days-is dedicated to Gears of War 4 . Beyond to present the beautiful cover that you can see in the pictures in depth news, the magazine will contain a special 14 pages long that will deepen story, gameplay and features the title of The Coalition.

But even before they learn the details from the magazine, the site of GI reveals that the game will be set 25 years after the events of GoW 3, in an era when Evening is ravaged by powerful storms that radically change the battlefield, and that there will be a "new threat" to face, with never-before-seen enemies.

We find also that the game will support the co-op split-screen two-player, who can choose two of the three new players that you see portrayed on the cover: one of these, JD Fenix , is the son of Marcus Fenix. JD is the main protagonist, an idealist who fled home from young to join the COG and follow in the footsteps of his father, only to lose track of him after an accident which we'll learn top secret in the game. It is played by American actor Liam McIntyre.

The other two protagonists are Kait Diaz (Laura Bailey), who grew up outside of the big cities, great expert of survival and in which his father died, and Delmont "Of" Walker (Eugene Byrd), a former COG faithful friend of JD which followed him when he deserted the body.
