New cars, features and events in free update for Need for Speed
New feature: manual transmission
This is a feature that many you asked us and we're really happy to be able to confirm that it will be included in next week's update Hot Rods. With the manual gearbox, you'll experience a whole new way to drive your cars and have all the control you have always wanted.
New cars: Hot Rod
Need for Speed is getting ready to welcome two new Hot Rod, starting with the 1932 Hot Rod, who will be accompanied by four unique body Kit (Soft Top, Coupe, Sedan and Pickup), each of which will give a new look to your car.
The second Hot Rod addition is Aaron Beck "BeckKustoms F132". This is a real monster of power, which redefines the meaning of "custom". To get an idea of what awaits you, take the chassis of a Ford 1932, mount it on a Formula One and add in the high performance engine of a car NASCAR.
New events: Drag Racing
What do you get by mixing the Hot rods and the manual transmission? Drag Racing! Inspired by the Drag Events from previous NFS, this new evidence are ideal for all speed lovers!
Performed a burnout on the start line to warm up the tires, take a seat on the initial deployment and put the engine at the right time. Watch how you use the nitro because it could decide the outcome of the race.
New feature: store
If you have no more space in your garage, don't worry. The update introduces virtual storage Hot Rods, widening the existing garage, allowing you to store up to ten cars.
Is perfect for anyone who has set his sights on a new car: now you have no excuse not to take a Hot Rod and take it for a ride to Ventura Bay.
Wrap Editor improvements
We love the liveries created by you players and, with the update Hot Rods, we will introduce some changes to the editor of wrap to make it even better.
The first is a coordinate system that will allow you to apply the stickers with even greater precision. This information will appear on a Panel now drop below the selected adhesive and will be updated in real time with each change.
Also apply the lettering on cars will be much simpler, thanks to the introduction of textual 2.0 stickers and the ability to select the character. Just pick your favorite character and a window in which to insert the text that you want.
New targets
There are three new objectives to unlock trophies:
- Drag Queen: win five events Drag Race
- Wrap it up: download a Wrap shared
- Kustom kar: buy your first Hot Rod
