To celebrate the great success of sales got from Rocket League , Psyonix announced during an episode of web show Kinda Funny Games that the company is working to complete a disk edition of Rocket League , to be launched on the market in 2016.

The President of the firm Jeremy Dunham tells us that "in short, we will announce that Rocket League arrives in retail version. We'll talk about who our partner, when you see it come to market and content present in this edition. " It also lets us know that Psyonix aims to publish new content to the game in 2016.

For now it is unclear whether the retail version of the game will be made for all platforms, or if it will arrive on all markets: we'll be waiting for news.
