Battalion 1944 us back on the fields of World War II
Battalion 1944 resumes typical features of multiplayer shooter and bring World War II to a new generation thanks to the performance of the graphics engine Unreal Engine 4 and skills of the developers who have grown up playing Medal of Honor and Call of Duty 2, titles which were inspired to create this new FPS.
The game will allow us to fight in places that have marked the history of the second world war as the streets of Carentan, the forests in and around Bastogne and many more. There will be also historical weapons such as the M1 Garand rifle or carbine quick 98k, mitra Thompson, just to name a few.
Below we present some of the main features, announced by developers, that make Battalion 1944 a respectable FPS:
- Gameplay based solely on the ability of the player: The way you play depends exclusively on the ability of individual players and that is why the game incorporates the ability based gameplay of the classic competitive shooter and integrates it with the latest technologies like motion capture, physics-based rendering and photogrammetry to make Battalion 1944 really a shooter of new generation
- Infantry combat system intense and balanced: The designers have examined hundreds of multiplayer shooter to find the most suitable and balanced formula for a FPS dedicated to World War II
- Competition scoring: You fight like a lone wolf or collaborate alongside friends. Contribute to seasonal goal of your battalion to receive rewards for you and your team. Compete in seasonal challenges or challenges faster with lenses that change from hour to hour to earn rewards and extra experience points. The challenges are in the main menu, in the appropriate warning panel of challenge and through our social media channels.
- Various game modes: Capture the flag, Deathmatch and domination are just some of the ways that will be featured in the game, in addition to new ways that we are currently testing. We will turn to the community for any requests, suggestions or ideas for new game modes.
- Aesthetic progression system: The progression system will cover purely aesthetic aspects and won't do any advantage to players of higher level.
- LAN Support: Fight alongside your friends in LAN mode
- Reliable servers: In addition to our official servers, you will have the opportunity to host the matches on your server, which can be set depending on your gaming needs. Server administrators can also choose between ranked, unranked or private.
