Electronic Arts has released a statement that leaves no room for doubt: to be able to play the upcoming titles dedicated to Star Wars, it's Star Wars: Battlefront 2 or the new title action-adventure game under development at Visceral Games we will have to wait at least until the end of 2017 and beyond.

The Chief Financial Officer of EA , Blake Jorgensen , said that there will be a new Star Wars: Battlefront , but has no idea when it will be released; Jorgensen did however note that at the end of 2017 we will see the eighth episode of Star Wars, then that is a good time for the release of the game.

As for the new game from Visceral Games directed by Jade Raymond, instead, it looks like we may have to wait even longer. The manager has explained that the exit of the title still missing "several years". 2018?
